OSF’s main purpose is to help people through music. OSF continuously hosts the Harlem Jazz Outreach Program in partnerships with local churches and hospitals, providing free jazz concerts and quality food for people in need around the East Harlem areas of the New York City. Harlem Jazz Outreach Concert is now playing at the Rendall Memorial Presbyterian Church (137th St and Lenox Blvd) on first Saturday of each month. In 2007, One Soul Fellowship provided nine free jazz concerts for diverse ethnic and age groups around the New York metro area.
On September 8, 2007, One Soul Fellowship performed a free jazz concert at the New York Plainview United Methodist Church (992 Old Country Road, Plainview, NY 11803) for 1.5-generation Koreans many of whom struggling with cultural identity. A total of 120 Korean-American young adults attended the concert. One Soul Fellowship successfully accomplished a high-quality jazz concert performed by the New York’s finest jazz musicians while serving traditional Korean food to its attendees.
